Last updated: 20 August 2025

  1. Introduction

This Refund & Returns Policy governs all purchases of digital software licences, activation keys, digital subscriptions, and other intangible electronic goods (“Digital Products”) sold by Startyn Superio SIA (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By completing a purchase on our website, you (“the Customer”) agree in full to this Policy.
This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all transactions conducted on startynsuperio.io.

  1. Nature of Digital Products

All products offered by Startyn Superio SIA are delivered electronically and consist of items such as:

  • software activation keys
  • licence codes
  • subscription activation tokens
  • digital downloadable access
  • electronically issued software entitlements

These goods are intangible and considered delivered once transmitted to the Customer’s email address or made available in their account.

  1. Non-Refundable Digital Goods (Strict Policy)

Due to the nature of digital activation keys, all sales are final.
Digital products cannot be returned, revoked, refunded, or exchanged after delivery.

You expressly agree that refunds will not be provided in cases including, but not limited to:

  • change of mind
  • accidental or duplicate purchase
  • purchase of the wrong version or edition
  • customer-side software or hardware incompatibility
  • inability or unwillingness to activate the licence
  • internal misuse of corporate payment instruments
  • claims of non-delivery when our system shows successful transmission
  • false claims of “unauthorised” transactions following 3-D Secure authentication

Once a licence key is issued, the product is considered consumed and non-returnable under EU law governing digital content supplied with the customer’s consent.

  1. Delivery of Digital Products

Digital products are delivered via:

  • email sent to the address provided at checkout
  • or display within the Customer’s digital account on our Website

Delivery is considered completed when:

  • the email is successfully sent (regardless of spam filtering);
  • access to the purchased licence is displayed on-screen;
  • activation records confirm the Customer used the licence key.

The Customer is responsible for providing and maintaining a valid, accessible email address.

  1. Activation as Proof of Complete Service

Software vendors (Autodesk, Adobe, Microsoft, etc.) register activation by:

  • timestamp
  • device identifier
  • account ID
  • IP region

Once activation is logged by the vendor system, it serves as final evidence that the service was fully delivered and consumed by the Customer.

Such transactions are strictly non-refundable.

  1. Verification Before Purchase

The Customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • that their operating system meets minimum requirements,
  • that the correct software edition and version are selected,
  • that licences purchased are compatible with their environment.

Startyn Superio SIA is not liable for incorrect selections or incompatible systems.

  1. Fraud Prevention and Chargeback Abuse

Attempts to reverse legitimate transactions through chargebacks, where:

  • delivery is confirmed,
  • activation is confirmed, or
  • 3-D Secure authentication was completed,

will be treated as friendly fraud or first-party misuse.

The Company reserves the right to:

  • challenge such disputes with all available evidence;
  • pursue pre-arbitration or arbitration under card scheme rules;
  • recover financial losses;
  • report abuse to payment processors or legal authorities.

  1. Technical Support

Startyn Superio SIA provides reasonable support to assist with installation and activation issues.
Support does not extend to system configuration, training, or unrelated technical troubleshooting.

All disputes shall be resolved under Latvian jurisdiction.
